Joana Senra was awarded at the Vaganova Prix 2018 competiton a scholarship to participate in the Prix de Lausanne 2019, alongside a place at the Vaganova Ballet Academy in Saint Petersburg to study for 1 year.

The choreography by EADCN´s Contemporary teacher Catarina Moreira entitled “Saia Lusa” with music by Amalia Rodrigues and performed by Joana Senra, was selected to open the final awards performance of the Vaganova Prix 2018, which was held on Saturday the 20th of October 2018 at the Marinsky Theatre in Saint Petersburg.
